Ollie is based in our Auckland office and is responsible for servicing commercial clients with their building surveying requirements such as technical due diligence, long term maintenance plans, dilapidations/reinstatement make-good surveys, and pre-development surveys.
Having become interested in this profession at the age of 16, he now has more than 15 yearsâ experience, and still enjoys the variety that the work brings, through carrying out different types of work at various locations.
His portfolio includes managing the delivery of a 45-site global technical due diligence project for a client in the entertainment industry. Ollie also project managed a 11,000sqm Cat B refurbishment of a live Grade A office building, totaling GBP 5 million, for an international banking client. He has advised numerous clients on maintenance strategies, including a 400,000sqm manufacturing site, grade A city centre offices, out of town business parks and shopping malls. Ollie has also advised both landlords and tenants in the negotiation and settlement of reinstatement and make good (dilapidations) obligations.
Ollie chaired the RICS working group which authored the February 2022 âRICS Planned Preventative Maintenance Global Guidance Noteâ.
