Guy has worked as a Building Surveyor for over 25 years; spending 14 years in Ireland and the UK before moving to New Zealand where he has worked for the past 12 years. His technical expertise, attention to detail and can-do attitude is complimented with his perseverance to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and to the clientâs expectations.
During his career, Guy has been involved in a number of major Auckland CBD property transactions, including a $600m transaction of a portfolio of Viaduct properties, and preparing vendorâs technical due diligence for an office park consisting of 13 office blocks and multi-storey carparks.
He has in-depth knowledge of preparing technical due diligence reports on private hospitals and medical facilities, shopping centres and other industrial and commercial buildings.
As part of a team of surveyors, Guy was involved in completing numerous asbestos inspections and preparation of asbestos registers on two large commercial property portfolios.
As part of a wider team of management consultants and building surveyors, Guy assisted with the inspection of a 1,200 residential property portfolio to assess the buildings for compliance with Healthy Homes Guarantee Act and graded them against a set of criteria by assigning a NAMS rating.
