A construction professional since 2003, Iresha has gained experience in a wide variety of construction environments through her work in Sri Lanka, Dubai and New Zealand.
She has crunched the numbers on a $640 million high-rise, mixed development projects, hotels, tertiary institutes and a host of other projects. She now delivers estimates on residential, industrial and commercial building projects at various stages of construction, as well as preparing reinstatement estimates for insurance and compiling bank reports.
Iresha originally completed a Civil Engineering diploma as her foundation studies. She undertook further study to obtain her degree in Quantity Surveying at Sheffield University. As part of her Masters in Construction (QS) at Massey University, her dissertation investigated how sustainability adds value to the solutions she provides to clients.
Iresha is a key part of the team delivering Quantity Surveying services to Kainga Ora Housing and Communities projects in Tauranga. Her experience includes providing preliminary estimates, monthly Progress Claims, Variations and Bank Drawdown reports in a variety of projects for Ministry of Education and private developers.
Iresha provides robust budgets and reporting to ensure project success and has sound construction contract knowledge working with NZS3910. Her leadership skills are evident in her proactive approach to challenges, and managing relationships between clients and the design team is one of her particular strengths.
